Geometric structure of b 2,2-orbihedra and interpolation of operators

We compute the normals to faces of b _2,2-orbihedra and apply the results to Operator Interpolation Theory.     

Explicit maximal and minimal curves over finite fields of odd characteristics

In this work we present explicit classes of maximal and minimal Artin–Schreier type curves over finite fields having odd characteristics. Our results include the proof of Conjecture 5.9 given in [1] as a very special subcase. We use some techniques developed in [2], which were not used in [1].     

Derivation of invariant varieties of periodic points from singularity confinement in the case of Toda map

We have shown in [1] that the invariant varieties of periodic points (IVPP) of all periods of some higher dimensional rational maps can be derived, iteratively, from the singularity confinement (SC). We generalize this algorithm, in this paper, to apply to any birational map, which has more invariants than the half of the dimension.     

An optimal perturbation bound

Cai and Zhang establish separate perturbation bounds for distances with spectral and Frobenius norms (Cai T, Zhang A. Rate‐optimal perturbation bounds for singular subspaces with applications to high‐dimensional statistics. The Annals of Statistics. 2018; Vol. 46, No. 1: 60?89). We extend their theorem to each unitarily invariant norm. It turns out that our estimation is optimal as well.     

Relaxation oscillations in a slow–fast modified Leslie–Gower model

In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of relaxation oscillation cycle of a slow–fast modified Leslie–Gower model via the entry–exit function and geometric singular perturbation theory. Numerical simulations are also carried out to illustrate our theoretical result.
